Executive Summary

The FY27 proposal is a different school program and construction strategy, not a discounted version of the FY25 project. The FY25 ballot proposal was a $52,921,828 build-to-suit school for grades 1–5, with most of the existing building replaced and the multipurpose room and kitchen retained. The FY27 concepts serve grades 1–4, retain and renovate approximately 50,729 square feet, and adds roughly 30,000–31,000 square feet. Clark remains the preschool–kindergarten site in both plans; under FY27, grade 5 remains at Amherst Middle School. 

The FY27 September 9 estimated total project budget is $32,975,000 for the selected design: $19,946,828 (37.7%) below the FY25 bond amount. The FY27 bond amount nor its lifetime debt service has been established.
